ANU China Institute Scholarships

Scholarships are offered by the ANU China Institute to international students for study in a PhD program at the ANU involving research in any discipline on any aspect of the Chinese world: the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Chinese diaspora.

Recipients, as international scholars, are required to undertake study on a full-time basis.

The ANU China Institute combines the research and teaching talents of the ANU's academics to bring greater focus to the university's collective activities and to highlight the work of the largest group of China specialists in Australia. At present the ANU has almost 50 academics engaged in research on China.

Details of the graduate programs available at the ANU can be found at GRADUATE STUDY@ANU.

We also encourage potential applicants to apply for other scholarships available for postgraduate research students at the ANU. For international students, these include the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships and ANU PhD Scholarships.
