The ANU China Institute combines the research and teaching talents of the ANU's academics to bring greater focus to our collective activities and to highlight the work of the largest group of China specialists in Australia.

The ANU China Institute coordinates the university's involvement in a number of projects related to the study of China in a number of fields.

A major international venture into online teaching with Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Aix-en-Provence, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and other universities. The resources produced by this project will be made available online for the teaching of Chinese at all levels.

Through this project, the ANU China Institute will host a number of secondary and primary teachers of Chinese from across Australia for reflecting on and writing about their own experience and benefiting from contacts with the ANU's wide array of China-scholars.
