Overview - Graduate Study

The ANU offers several graduate programs relevant to the study of China. These programs are offered by different ANU Colleges, including the College of Asia & the Pacific, College of Arts & Social Sciences and the College of Business and Economics.

Academic staff belonging to the ANU China Institute can provide prospective students with an indication of which structural units within the ANU offer graduate study relating to China.

All graduate programs at the ANU are administered by the Graduate School.

Programs relevant to the study of China are concentrated in the Faculty of Asian Studies, the Research School of Asia & the Pacific and the Crawford School of Economics and Government.

The Faculty of Asian Studies offers a number of relevant graduate programs, including the Master of Asia-Pacific Studies, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies offers graduate programs in a number of departments and centres. Specific information for prospective students is available for the following units:

The Crawford School offers Masters programs and Doctoral study programs. In addition, the School also offers a range of graduate diplomas and certificates.
